오는 5월, 벨기에 필립 왕세자가 경제사절단과 함께 한국을 방문합니다. 이 방문을 통해 경기침체로 어려움을 겪고 있는 모든 국민들에게 보다 희망의 메시지가 전해지길 기대합니다.  
 
어려운 시기를 극복하기 위한 방법은 문화, 특히 음악에서 찾을 수 있다고 생각합니다. 주한벨기에대사관은 벨기에 왕세자와 경제사절단 방한에 앞서, 벨기에의 우수한 클래식 연주자들을 초청하여 ‘벨기에 음악인의 밤’이라는 미니 페스티벌을 준비하고자 합니다.  
 
첫째 날에는 벨기에의 명 플루티스트 Marc Grauwels와 젊은 거장 기타리스트 Denis Sungho JANSSENS가 Piazzolla를 비롯한 멋진 음악을 선사하고, 둘째 날에는 플루티스트 Marc Grauwels와 장재혁, 그리고 Dombrecht Oboe School 학장 Thierry Cammaert, 피아니스트 허원숙이 함께합니다. 
셋째 날에는 브뤼셀 왕립음악원 교수이자 Francois Adrien Servais의 후계자인 첼리스트 Didier Poskin을 중심으로 펼쳐지며, 그의 스승의 유명 작품인 ‘Paganini of the Cello’를 선보입니다. 이 공연에는 리에주 필하모닉오케스트라의 수석 바이올리니스트 Endre Kleve와 오보이스트 Thierry Cammaert가 함께합니다.
